Description: This is a really neat old Scottie Dog lamp. I believe this is from the 1940's. It is heavy. The dog is made of iron I believe. He is heavy. The base is wood. His eyes are mother of pearl though they look like they were painted on in the photos, they aren't. The cord is brittle and the socket is broken so I am assuming it doesn't work. I have had this quite a while and purchased it from an antique store. I never plugged it in and I do not advise anyone plugging it in. I would rewire it if you are planning to use it as a lamp. This is 13 inches tall. The wooden base is 7.75 by 4 inches. This is really a cute lamp.
