Vintage 1950s-60s Black Semi-Sheer Dress Size S/M

Description: Vintage late 50s early 60s dress by Caron Lane, size small. This sweet little black dress features a crew neckline, dolman cut cap sleeves, and an orange satin belt. It's not quite pleated but more like elegant piping details in the upper half of the dress that flow into a soft gathered pleated bottom half. The skirt of this dress has a bit of twirl to it and is missing the lining so you may opt to wear a slip skirt underneath...or go for a sexy semi-sheer look! The back closure is a metal zipper and standard hook fastener. Missing one side thread loop for the belt. The belt is made of some satin-like material wrapped around what feels like a poseable cardboard material. I'm not actually sure if the belt originally came with the dress but it does create a nice pop of color and has a nice faux tortoise shell plastic buckle. There is no stretch to this dress, so please see the following measurements to ensure an accurate fit. In great vintage condition with minimal surface wear.
