Description: Thrifting find. Two 1950s ceramic fur-trimmed figurines; a skunk and a lamb. The lamb is about 4" tall and the skunk is about 3" tall. They're hand glazed and marked "JAPAN" on the undersides. The skunk's eyes are closed and he holds a bouquet of pink flowers. Please note that these figures have been re-fur-bished! The original rabbit fur trim was badly deteriorated and falling apart. I've replaced the original fur with new, real rabbit fur, placing it exactly where the original was glued. It looks much better and is definitely fresh and clean. There is what looks like a glaze bubble pop on the skunk's forehead, and a paint error on the back of the lamb's hind leg. There also is crazing on the glaze. Please take a look at the photos to be sure the condition and modifications are acceptable, and let me know if you have any questions. Shipped via USPS Ground Advantage. I pack with care and lots of bubble wrap.
