Description: Vintage 1950's "Big John the Chimpee Chief" Drumming Monkey with Original Box This vintage toy is pre-owned. Only 1 owner. Comes with the original box. Box has some ripping and signs of age, wear and a few water marks. The monkey's drum is missing the top lid, and the battery compartment is missing the closure lock. I could not test the monkey because honestly, I couldn't figure out the batteries. Battery compartment is in brand new condition. NO RUST, NO CORROSION. Monkey itself and hat and stand are all in excellent condition. Battery Operated with round 1.5V batteries (not included). Switch on/off on back behind monkey's feet.
