Most of these old Gundersen-Pairpoint perfume bottles are clear crystal. It is rare to find one in yellow crystal.The bottle is round from top view and oval shape from side view with 9 prominent smooth vertical ribs. The stopper is tall spire-shape with 8 vertical ribs. The bottle and stopper together are about 7-inches tall. The bottle is about 3.5-inches in diameter. The stopper is 4.75-inches long.The bottle holds 1 fluid ounce of liquid. The bottle and stopper together weigh about 1.25 pounds.The bottle and stopper are in excellent flawless condition. There are no chips, cracks or scratches. The Gundersen-Pairpoint Glass Works (currently the Pairpoint Glass Company) has operated under various names in Massachusetts since 1837 and is the oldest operating glass company in the United States. It operated as the Gundersen-Pairpoint Glass Works only from 1952 to 1957. Gunderson-Pairpoint (Pairpoint) is known for very high-quality glass products.
