Description: Stunning Alfredo Barbini hand blown glass ashtray from 1950s was made in Italy. It features gold mica aventurine bullicante on a soft pink background cased in clear glass. Pink is a little lighter than in the photos. This is a very heavy piece for it's size. It measures 6.25" x 5.75" x 2.625" and weighs 1 pound, 14 ounces. Nice vintage condition. No chips, cracks, bruises, or flea bites. Some scratches, mostly on the bottom (likely from being slid back and forth on a table over the decades). There is a pin dot area inside the glass where the artist either missed the pink color, or a tiny black speck got trapped inside (see photos).
