Description: This stunning vintage dress is in very good condition. I have reviewed it carefully and the following list all the flaws or sewing alterations I have been able to find. The hook and clasp are missing from the top of the zipper. The strap length in the back appears to have been shortened and then returned to its original length. In the front of the dress the straps seem to have been enforced with a few hand-sewn stitches. This is not a flaw but I just want to be clear that the embroidered roses are sewn onto the dress and no apart of the fabric itself. The lining is in great shape, having only a lose thread or two that do not effect structural integrity. The outer fabric is linen and has aged beautifully, keep in mind though that linen has a slightly uneven weave to it naturally. This piece also features a matching bolero which is just darling and in great shape! *this dress is pictured with a crinoline ( a poofy underskirt) to fully show its silhouette.
