Description: A spectacular example of mid-century modern styling in an eye-catching red housing. The Radio Museum places manufacture in 1952 (with a question mark). After warming up, radio tunes in stations just fine. A cool feature is the tuning light that moves with the needle. Sound quality is good. Please watch the video to see a demonstration. (Please dismiss the background noise. It is not coming from the radio.) No static when volume is adjusted, so potentiometer is good. As can be seen in the photos, the housing is in excellent shape with very minor scuffs. Worst blemishes are 2 scratches on the plastic tuning window. It is also dusty inside the window. The squiggle under 55 in the photo is a dust bunny. I’ll leave removing the window and cleaning up to someone else with more experience. Kindly use the pictures to assess condition for yourself. Measures about 12.5” wide x 6.5” tall x 6.5” deep. Please examine the photos closely and email any questions. Item #24.183
