Description: Vintage 1953 Better Homes & Gardens New Cook Book 5 Ring Binder Cookbook - acceptable condition - well used! There are several additional recipes included from the previous owner. A Sorghum syrup cookbook, a couple from McCalls Cooking School and one or two clipped or written recipes (one candy recipe). I didn't go through every page but that is what I did see. These recipes are in addition to the cookbook. This copy has several age issues but is still usable! The printed sheet on the cover is wavy from water damage (the board underneath is fine). The front cover is separated from the spine but the inside binding cloth is intact so the cover is attached still and seems pretty good! The inside back cover has some fading of the pink and the front inside has some water damage (not too bad). Some of the text pages have torn at the punches and are loose. Some have circle adhesives on them to repair the holes. Some pages are fraying at the bottom. All text pages can still be read and used and some are in pretty good shape but it is a well loved cookbook! Putting the loose pages in plastic sleeves may help. Overall it is a well used cookbook but still usable and has additional recipes included.
