Description: Vintage Correct Parts is proud to offer, for your consideration, A killer vintage 1959 / 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard "Burst" HardcaseThis is a very rare Gibson variant of the arched lid vintage Les Paul case. Gibson had a few different versions of this case made by several case companies (Lifton, Stone, Ess & Ess) during this period, Gibson also made a Blue Plush lined case with purple satin appointments and a dark grayish/black tolex exterior. These cases were for guitars that were intended for export to Canada and the UK. This case fits a Les Paul Standard or Custom perfectly. (The Les Paul pictured in the photos is for fit/reference purposes only, not included!) This case is in amazing condition for it's age. The interior is plush and supple. The exterior shows signs of wear but no rips or tears to the tolex. There are no offensive odors to the interior. All latches, hardware and the handle are original. The center "lock" latch is stuck in the "lock" position and will need a key or a quick lock-pik to free it up. This is a great option if you've got a 50's Standard, Custom or Junior that needs a real vintage hard case.
