Description: This listing is for a group of four vintage postcards from Fort Sill, Oklahoma, a US Army Artillery and Missile Center. Fort Sill was established during the wars with the American Indians and is one of the oldest military posts in the nation. 1. McNair Hall---Post Headquarters and a battery of 105mm howitzers. 2. U.S. Army Artillery and Mssile Center w/battery of 105mm howitzers and the color guard. 3. U.S. Army Artillery and Missile Center shot of a self propelled 105mm howitzer and hits on Ft. Sill's West range. 4. U.S. Army Artillery and Missile Center self propelled 8 in howitzer being readied to fire on the West range. They were distributed by Baxter Lane Co. of Amarillo, Texas. Each measures 5 1/2" X 3 1/2". They have divided back and were not sent through the mail. Condition: There is some surface wear and creasing. The edges and corners are worn.
