Vintage 1960's 1970's Gray Mohair Steiff Elephant Teddy bear friend 8in VGC

Description: Please meet Nima, a vintage Jumbo Elephant and tree bark loving Teddy bear friend from Steiff in Germany! She has no I.D. but is guaranteed Steiff. Her EAN would be 0520/22, and she was produced between 1968 and 1975. She is missing the bell that would be at the end of her trunk as well as her red felt bib. She is made of a soft gray mohair that is in excellent shape and has a cute little tail. She has black and white eyes and an open mouth that is lined with pink felt. Her trunk is a little positionable. Her wool felt paw pads do have minor staining to two of the paw pads. Her press squeaker works occasionally, but not consistently. I've given her a lavender ribbon to wear. She is solidly stuffed. Only her head and arms are jointed and she is in a seated position. She is in very good condition. Nima is just over 8 inches tall and weighs 11 ounces. Could she be the one for you??? She is looking for a home where she can compete in a friendly game of squash with you and your bears! :0) Please note: Upon payment, I ship the next business day. I simply rename them using my own imagination (which is admittedly quite active). This is not a slight to the talented artist who created them or meant to confuse the collector...just a way to give them a bit of personality and to have a little fun! (Feel free to change their name and protect the innocent!) A quick note about shipping: Don't you hate it when you're overcharged by a seller on shipping???? A gazillion dollars to cross the pond or go across the country. It's ridiculous. I am striving to be accurate in my listing, but sometimes ebay's calculator is way off (especially for those outside the U.S.). When i calculate shipping, I add in extra weight for the box.
