Description: Pictures show condition. This tripod has been modified to display the MG-34. This modification was accomplished by cutting off the original center mount for the MG-42 and welding a custom carriage for the MG-34 mount. I made the custom carriage as well as the actual part that mounts to the barrel guard of the MG-34. This carriage is nothing close to MIL-SPEC and is made of light steel. I am offering the carriage and MG-34 mount for display only as it was in no way made to be used with a functional firearm. One of the original MG-42/3 parts is included, which mounts to the receiver. I was unable to find the other parts as I made this modification over 20 years ago. The tripod itself has sat and collected dust it's entire stay with me, with the exception of when it held my MG-34 for a short time. The tripod is in typical, used surplus condition.
