Description: Grand Seiko 62GS Cap Gold 6246-9001 Wristwatch Listing for great condition 62GS issued from April1967 wrist watch.This vintage Grand Seiko 62GS wristwatch features a smooth, fixed gold-plated bezel and a two-piece black leather strap with a buckle closure. The watch has a round, polished gold capped case with a screwback caseback. The dial is silver ish champagne-colored with baton indexes and features a 12-hour analog display with day/date functions. This classic wristwatch was manufactured in Japan in 1967 and has 39 jewels with a mechanical (automatic) movement. The watch is suitable for men with a max wrist size of 6.5-7 inches and comes with a seller warranty, but not with papers, original box/packaging, or a manual/booklet. This Grand Seiko Vintage wristwatch is a perfect addition to any watch collection and is sure to impress with its unique classic style and functionality.62 GS has two version in stainless steel or cap gold made in 1966-67 and had only two years in production before Grand Seiko moved on Hi-Beat in 1967-68. In short period of time, the gold version is much lesser and most we can find it on secondary market are beat up and hard to come out good decent one.This watch is probably better condition than most on Bay and serviced less a few year when I first got it. Running perfect and accuracy is excellent at +6 secs per day. The cap gold has 100% coverage on case and nothing exposed the bare metal from the underneath. As an almost 60 years watch blemish and pits are exist in closeup but nothing noticeable in arm length. Crystal has tiny crack at 2 o'clock corner but still prevent moisture and doesn't interference looking the beautiful dial and time. I don't think necessary to swap with new crystal. The sunburst dial has Silver or champagne color depend on the ambience, it looks amazing and delightfully change. Dial is immaculate and hands and indexes are sparkle and beautiful. Case measurements are on case 36mm, thickness 12.4mm lug 19mm and lug to lug 40.7mm. Watch comes with 12 month warranty and accepting 14 days return without asking any questions. Sale comes with only the watch and black leather strap and perfect pair with this 62GS gold.
