Description: Eckels Arterial Chemical, Embalming Fluid, trioxitone, Vintage AND Brand New! This never opened glass bottle is removed from one of two cases that were found in the basement of an old funeral home. Pictures of the cases are included for story amusement. The bottles themselves are 8.75” x 2.5” x 2.5” The year of production on the cases say 1968. The bottles are beautifully preserved with the striking red embalming fluid still inside. As embalming fluid ages and remains stagnant, the formaldehyde gas begins to separate out from the liquid into solids that settle on the bottom of the bottles forming paraformaldehyde. The pictures show an accumulation of solids starting on the bottom of the bottles, clueing us in to this fluid being the real deal. This listing is for ONE BOTTLE, but there are 24 found so far. Even though they have not been touched in about 56 years, the natural climate regulation has caused some stickers to begin to slightly curl. First come first served. If you are looking for a talking point, or something unique and socially isolated, or just that one thing to put your man-cave or she-shed’s decor a cut above everyone else’s self serving spaces, then don’t let these grail finds pass you by! Thank you for looking!
