Description: This 1969 (M9) Bulova Golden Clipper E Sea King automatic is powered by a Bulova 11ANABC movement - part of the last movement family Bulova designed and manufactured. The case is all stainless and has only minor scratching. The crystal is clear and without scratching. It sets, runs and keeps time. It does not have modern setting, but requires moving between 12 o'clock and 9 o'clock to advance the date. All in all, this over 50 year old watch is in excellent condition. The markers and logo are shiny, the "crosshair" dial doesn't have spots and is a flat black (appears kind of purple in the pics, but it's black which is rare). The hands are white with the inset lume turned to a buttery yellow color. The top of the case is brushed while the sides are polished. This is a Sea King model and the whale is a bright white on the black dial. This is a vintage watch so it probably needs a service even though it does keep time. The seals and o-rings are long gone so the water resistance is zero but that's to be expected and can be replaced easily enough.
