Description: Vintage 1970s EVANDALE TEAPOT W LID Mid Century Mod HAND PAINTED FANTASY BIRD This beautiful Mid-Century Teapot has a modern unique shape with wonderful elongated handle and a lid with a round finial. Shiny glaze inside and out.It has an image of a hand painted Fantasy bird on the front and back side, each is different. Done in a line drawing style with interesting patterning. Lined pattern on handle, spout opening, and lid. All in shades of dark rich brownLid has a little latch edge to prevent it from slipping when pouring Size Approx. 4.25"Tall w lid, 7.5"Long from spout tip to handle, 2 3/8"Wide opening on topAny white spots in photos are not on teapot but are simply light reflections on the glossy glaze Excellent condition, absolutely no damage or flaws other than a VERY faint crazing line through glaze at finial on lid. Not on a painted area, not darkened, almost impossible to see- see last pic. No nicks chips cracks scratches crazing fading or repairs. No staining or signs of use inside, spotless. Faint slightly darker line along seam under spot and on back along handle where the 2 halves of the pot were joined when clay- not damage. A beautiful teapot for a collector, will look beautiful on display or in use.
