There are a few dings and dents as you would expect of a 50+ year old cooler, but to me it just adds to the character and shows that it was used for more than a couple of picnics and has some history... I did a light cleaning to it, but with a little elbow grease you can bring out some of the wear marks. Overall I think it's in really good used condition.
