Description: untitled Vintage 1971 S. Yairi Gakki Classical Guitar Clase 300 Signed Japan This is a very clean vintage S. Yairi Gakki classical guitar. Overall, this guitar is in excellent used condition and looks and sounds wonderful. I see one scratch on the face of the guitar in about the 4 o'clock position just past the sound hole. It looks like someone dragged a guitar pick across the strings and down onto the wood. Also, there is a small scratch on the backside of the neck which you can't really feel when you go over it with your thumb. It's slight, but it's there. The biggest issue is the D string tuner. As you can see, the cylindrical piece onto which the string is wound is cracked. I was going to buy a new set of tuners and replace them, but I decided maybe this would best be left to the next owner to deal with. This tuner could be repaired too, but I figure someone in the market for a guitar like this would probably prefer to make that decision for themselves. It doesn't look like these are especially expensive tuners. Finally, weirdly, there is what appears to be ink from typeset print that has transferred onto the backside of the guitar in one small area. I've never come across this before. I don't believe this would affect play at all, and it could probably also be cleaned. I just don't want to mess with it. The backside is otherwise really beautiful and I don't want to screw it up. I've had this guitar for several years and I never noticed it before. You do have to look for it at the right angle to see it. This guitar will be shipped in the case that it came with. It is a hardshell case, but the original black vinyl material is peeling off at different spots. It could probably be repaired by relining the case with new vinyl, but it will serve it's purpose for shipping and you might want to replace it down the road. Please email me if you have any questions or need more pictures. Thanks BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS \ -\ IMPORTANT!!! I strive to receive 5/5!!! I do not charge any handling fees. You only pay the cost of the actual shipping. If I could afford to offer free shipping I would, but most of my profits are small and I really just can't swing it. Unfortunately, because of ebay's new Detailed Seller Ratings system, a 5=A and a 4=F. I say this because even though you may think you're giving me a "Good" score, if I or any other seller just receives 4s we will be thrown off of ebay. That's they're new system. I really do strive to give each of my customers the best service possible, but also, I specialize in selling rare, unusual and hard to find items. The very items that helped build ebay into the empire that it is. When all of us little sellers are gone there's going to be nothing left to buy on ebay but a bunch of Buy.com overstock. Many of my items only wind up costing $6.80 to ship. Heavier items will cost more. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS do need to realize that the USPS calculator is often inaccurate with international shipping rates. So I do sometimes add a couple of dollars to the cost to cover myself. I guarantee everything I sell. If I make a mistake I will always give you a full refund. Please do not bid unless you intend to buy this item!!! I will ship internationally, but I will not falsify documents so as to help you avoid customs!!! I accept Paypal. All items are guaranteed to be as described, if I have made a mistake I will gladly refund your money, minus the cost of shipping. However, I go to great lengths to provide correct measurements and nice big pictures of every detail. it is your responsibility as a buyer to ask any and all questions prior to placing a bid. If you fail to do so, or the piece doesn't fit properly, I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do. I usually ship upon payment via USPS. You, as the buyer, are responsible for the cost of shipping. IIf I can find a box that will work to safely ship your item I will pass the savings on to you. I strongly suggest you also insure your purchase as I cannot be responsible for damage or loss through shipping. If you require special arrangements or shipping through UPS, please allow additional time. Also, I charge a $10 handling fee for UPS shipping, i charge this fee because i do not want to ship via UPS. The only exception to this would be when I'm selling a heavier item which must be shipped via UPS. In that case it will be specifically stated in the auction description. I almost always leave positive feedback, unless there's some extreme problem. However, I sometimes don't get around to leaving the feedback for a week or so. Please be patient. Please email me if you have any questions. Here's a link...
