Description: VINTAGE SEIKO MONACO 7016-5001 AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH WATCH Listing for vintage Seiko Monaco Ref 7016-5001 watch is a men's timepiece from the era of June 1973. With a square stainless steel case and a dark blue dial, it features a chronograph function and an automatic mechanical movement with 17 jewels. The bezel is silver in color and fixed, while the band is sue leather with a green hue. This classic Seiko timepiece, made in Japan, has a unique design that reflects the style of the era it was manufactured in, making it a sought-after piece for watch collectors and enthusiasts. This particular watch, all the complications are working perfectly and the flyback chronograph returns and restarts instantly. The chrono reset to zero on all three hands including second, minute and 12 hours counters. The flyback chronograph is not the first time Seiko created, but with the day date complications and flyback chronograph are probably you can find only on 7016 Seiko movement. It's a quite achievement back in the day and I wish Seiko would bring back this flyback chronograph on their modern sports watches and definitely will sell well. Service history is unknown and the watch runs 5 minutes fast in 24 hours. The day is in Spanish and English with able to change easily on the quick set crown. Automatic movement cannot be winded in manual but just gently shaking for 30 seconds will have enough power for 4-5 hours at least and continue wearing will power up for throughout the day. The dial is still in good vintage condition and has a dark blue background with yellow minute counter and red tip second hand play well in design. Every lettering are original and the whole watch is in original condition I believe. Measurements case 36.5mm, lug 18mm, lug to lug 41mm and thickness 13.2mm. The watch is only coming with high quality olive green rough out leather made in Japan and looks good with this dark blue dial. Other items in the pictures are decorative purposes only.
