Description: Maker: Greco Model: MR800 Condition: Good Description: A very clean condition, vintage 1977 Greco MR800 from the golden age of Japan vintage guitars, built in the legendary FujiGen factory. This was Greco's first signature model made for Mick Ralphs of Bad Company/Mott the Hoople. This model was also played by Ace Frehley and Paul Stanley of KISS fame. This is a unique looking guitar with a beautifully rich grained rosewood fretboard, Ash body with carved top. Features 2 Greco PU-0 humbucker pickups (basically copies of the 70's classic Super Distortion. 24 frets with a super comfortable contoured heel for full access all the way up. This one has seen a good amount of use in its life. The body shows lots of dings and scratches (see our photos for a full idea of the cosmetic condition). The neck has some minor scratches and dings but is otherwise in good condition. Headstock has a chip on the top back side but is otherwise good. Fretboard is in good condition. Frets have minimal wear and plenty of life left. Hardware shows some age but works perfectly. Pickups and electronics work great and sound killer. Overall this guitar has definitely had the s*** played out of it but with good reason. An awesome 70s player that is unique and solid. Includes gig bag. Weight: 8lbs 14oz Pickups: Greco PU-0
