Description: There are scratches on the Top die cast hoop This vintage 1980 TAMA Swingstar Chrome SNARE DRUM is a true gem for drummers. Made in Japan, it features a seamless steel shell and a 14-inch diameter x 6.5” (total height with hoops is 7.5”) and 8 lugs. The top (bater side) hoop is a Tama die cast hoop and the bottom (snare side) is a regular Tama hoop. This configuration of having the Top die cast hoop and regular hoop on the bottom replicates as how Steward Copeland (The Police band drummer) used to set up his personal snare drum. This is a snare from 1980’s with original old school Tama badge….made in Japan (MIJ) There is pitting on the chrome…also there are scratches and pitting on the top die cast hoop…..it still looks very shinny. This was made with seamless metal shell. The drum is perfect for any musical instrument and gear setup, and it comes with a snare drum that is sure to impress. The brand TAMA is known for its high-quality percussion instruments, and this snare drum is no exception. Its chrome finish and unique design make it a standout piece for any drummer. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, this vintage snare drum is a must-have for your collection.
