Description: Walt Disney World's Epcot Center Grand Opening Limited Edition Cast Member Commemorative Medallion/Coin from 1982. It's a Beautiful medallion with a raised image of Spaceship Earth, the sun shining above it, a monorail passing underneath and the words "The Dawn of a New Disney Era" on one side. On the other side is the Epcot Logo, the words "Walt Disney World Epcot Center" and October 1, 1982 below. It was given to Cast Members to celebrate the Grand Opening of Epcot Center in October of 1982. The coin is 1 5/8" in diameter and comes with the original coin holder that it was attached to when it was given to the cast member 40 years ago. Also included is the original thank you letter from Dick Nunis that accompanied it and the original envelope that it came in. Please note, since this particular coin is still attached to the coin holder, the image of the reverse side a coin is a stock image and may not accurately represent the condition of that side of this coin. This coin/medallion has not been cleaned and is in original aged condition.
