Description: Here is a beautiful, original, vintage enamel pin sold at the Basketball Hall of Fame in 1997 for the 1997 Induction Class which included Pete Carril, head coach of the Princeton Tigers (1967 to 1996). Carril's teams stymied opponents with a slow-down game that facinated, scaring the heck out of powerhouse schools in his eleven trips to the Big Dance.Others inducted w Carril included Alex English, Joan Crawford, Denise Curry, Antonio Diaz-Miguel, Don Haskins and Bailey Howell. It is in gorgeous condition and comes in its original box. I purchased it at the Hall of Fame many years ago.
