Description: Auction is for a vintage 1950’s bed jacket. A very delicate jacket with lovely ecru lace on Peter Pan collar, edge of sleeves and tiny pocket on front. Material is so beautiful ~ a smocking sort of design (see close-up pic). Front is tied with a thin same fabric tie and that is the only closure. Measurements are approximate: Bust: 44” Shoulder to Shoulder: 16” Length from edge of collar to bottom hem: 21” Length of sleeves: 19”. A few tiny holes (see pics) and the delicate lace on back of sleeve edge could use a stitch or two and a small age-related stain lower back (might come out in a gentle wash).
