Description: This item is a two-piece suit consisting of jacket & skirt from the 1960's by the David Crystal Company. The David Crystal Company has been associated with such fashion names as Christian Dior, Bill Blass, Lacoste and Izod, just to name a few. The fabric is a jacquard. The suit is lined. There are no labels on either piece that denote fabric materials or care, or the size. The fabric pattern is a detailed floral print in tones of golds, yellows, browns, on a black background. There is a shiny metallic thread outlining many of the design details, giving these pieces a glamorous and formal touch. The pieces can be used individually (say a black silk shirt with just the skirt, or the jacket paired with monochrome black or brown slacks and top) to add a touch of sophistication to an otherwise casual outfit or wear them together to make a stunning appearance. It's hard to catch the exact colors in the photos. Some of the photos were taken outdoors, others indoors, trying to capture the colors.
