Then gave it to me like 80-82ish This thing could be in a museum (I think) Vintage Fox Motocross Moto-X Chest Protector. Considering it's 50 years old, not too shabby. It was the technology of the day, but ready to use for vintage motocross today. No distinct flaws and I went over this very thoroughly whilst brushing some dust off. It is also UV sterilized. There is only 1 clip where only 1 of the two prongs clicks in but it still locks completely tight! And if it ever breaks that's a common part and the easiest and cheapest to replace. It is fine as is though, been that way for over 40 years now. It is not all gouged up , the Logos are still all there unbelievably. It's been used, but not at all heavily or even much at all. What I'm saying it it can still be reform it's function and also just beautiful presentation on display. A knuckle brush and some water and shout spray would have this thing suitable for a museum! That's why it's been so tough to part with. I'm listing tons of old sports gear it sells fast but lots of Feedbacks on 60's, 70's 80's 90's through today on quality gear. About 50% vintage and 50% contemporary. Save me as a seller if this is your thing. This is only 1 shoulder-chest guard I've got the whole rest of outfit and other pads and still hundreds more in most sports. All my very active sons are graduated or well into college and all the gear besides what they wanted is coming up on ebay here. Only a couple dozen listings but everything from helmets to pain relief jerseys, hats and sporting goods for every sport especially hockey all the way back to youth from adult the whole bags. Golf, archery, swimming, lacrosse, baseball, football, soccer, cornhole, fishing, hiking? Etc and women's as well as boys/ men in adult sizes. 4 storage units each 10x10 1.5 of those sports stuff and clothes...there's enough we just decided on an ebay store.
