Description: DESCRIPTION: Vintage late 70's Suntour Power Ratchet Shifter Set, Stem Mount, Friction Only (Not Indexed), Silver/Black, Steel and Aluminum Construction. Includes stem mount (for quill stems with 22.2mm outer diameter), integrated cable stops, left ratchet shifter (for front derailleur), and right ratchet shifter (for rear derailleur). Shifter arms are 3 inches in length. Weighs 130g. NOTE: These are STEM MOUNT, NOT DOWNTUBE MOUNT!! COMPATIBILITY: This came off a bike with a 2x5 speed setup, but these friction shifters will likely work with other gear configurations (like 3x7 speed, 2x6 speed, 2x7 speed, etc.). I cannot guarantee these shifters will work with anything beyond a 7 speed rear freewheel or cassette (but they might!). I personally run an old 80's friction Suntour thumb shifter on my 9 speed mountain bike and it works great! YMMV. CONDITIONS: These shifters are in excellent condition and operate flawlessly. Ratcheting function is excellent. There are a few areas of faded finishes, scratches and scuffs, but overall these shifters are excellent and far better than most I've seen for sale on this platform.
