Vintage 80's Hein Gericke Phantom Leathers Size 42 Jacket/32 Pants Red/Black

Description: Vintage 1980's Two Piece Hein Gericke "Phantom" leathers. Jacket is size 42, pants are size 32. This fits a 6'/165" rider, but the suit is cut in more of a touring style so there is room inside for a heavier rider/ space for additional layers, and you can walk/sit in it. It comfortably accommodated a Dainese back protector for track days that is included in the sale. Nice to be able to remove the jacket independently of the pants for destination riding. The Phantom suit was part of the launch of the OG 900 Ninja in 1984. They are used but cared for/conditioned, some wear showing but very functional. Stored indoors in climate controlled conditions. Never crashed in or repaired, all buttons and zips work correctly, Zippers at cuffs, ankles, front pockets, front/rear vents, fly, and inner waist to join jacket to pants. Snaps on inner vest, inner breast pocket, trousers pockets. Hook catch on trouser waist, velcro at jacket neck. As you can see I (sadly) never quite got a knee down, so the knee pads are still pristine. Includes snap in liner vest for cold weather, and vented zipper areas front/rear for more air flow when it is hot. The pants zip to the back of the jacket for more protection and to pass safety inspection for track days. Double layer over kidneys, with gathers at the sides of the jacket as well as the back shoulders for freedom of movement. Double layer elbows for protection. Not willing to part out jacket from pants. Includes matching Kawasaki and/or Olympia gloves, size small. Also includes promotional brochure.
