I couldn't find any online references to the artist's name on bottom which appears to be "Kim Childs" and I am thinking that it was created as a student exercise in hand-building ceramics but I can't guarantee. In my opinion, the form appears to possibly depict a fluid struggle or dance between 2 abstracted figures. Will blend perfectly in collections containing student work, naïve art, folk art, primitivism, outsider art and more.
