Description: You are looking at a vintage American DJ GoboTec DJ Light Unit. This one has been sitting in storage for a while with minimal use. I purchased this years back (in the 90's) for a crazy price, although all of these old DJ lights were very expensive when they were sold new. This was a dealer demo unit so only used a few times then put back in the box. Light has been tested and works great. Comes with a functioning 250 watt lamp but I am not responsible if the bulb does not make it through shipping. One of the early units from American DJ. This unit is called the Quantum. Unit uses a EXY 82 volt, 250 watt bulb as the source. The light shoots through a convex lens then through a rotating gobo wheel. The gobo wheel switches every 8 - 10 seconds. After the gobo wheel through another convex lens onto a rotating dichoric wheel with 12 different colored wedges on it. The wheel is sound active and rotates to the beat of the music.
