Description: For sale is an Antique Glass Apothecary/Pharmacy Show Globe with a brass hanger. It’s a rare and beautiful piece that used to hang in my pharmacy. I’m now retired and selling some of my antique apothecary pieces that used to be displayed in my pharmacy, which was an independent, family-owned pharmacy in Illinois. The glass is free from chips or cracks. It holds liquid. The brass hanger is in great condition. When I originally purchased this I was told it came from France, though I’m not certain of the validity of that claim. Since I hung this in the pharmacy filled with colored water, I looked far and wide to find a lid that fit perfectly, so I could display it filled without dust or insects falling inside, and so the water would not evaporate.
