Description: Vintage Artisan Silver Plated 1/2" Wide Woven Bands Mother of Pearl Size 5.5. I do not know the history of this ring as I purchased it years ago in a thrift store. A 1/2 wide band made of 5 woven strands, this ring's stone/shell is 3/4 inch by over 1/2 inch wide. The stone/shell is a white color with depth and shine--I am guessing it is mother of pearl but not sure. The ring is unmarked but again, guessing handmade and silver plated based on my limited knowledge of metallurgy. Condition is "Pre-owned"--please see pictures as items are sold "as is" without the props. The ring's back is pushed in slightly so that it is not a perfect circle, but it fits nicely on the fingers. The silver is striated inside, with some sections showing another metal.
