Description: CONDITION: Excellent, without defects. Ceramic poodle produced in the United States by the Atlantic Mold Company in the 1950s & 1960s. It measures 11 1/4 inches long, 7 1/2 inches high and 5 1/4 inches wide. There are still molds out there but this company retired in 1999. This poodle figure was filled in with ceramic slip and is quite substantial in weight. In the mid-century, these poodles were the “In Thing” along with pony tails and Audrey Hepburn movies. This little pooch was hand cast and the details were hand painted.
