Description: This is an incredible Banthrico building bank featuring the Syracuse Savings Bank - the oldest bank in Syracuse. The bank was originally established in 1849. This bank depicts the Syracuse Savings Bank historic building in New York designed by Joseph Lyman Silsbee. The building was built in 1875 adjacent to the Erie canal and featured the first passenger elevator in Syracuse. Bank is in excellent condition with the original trap. No key. Bank is approximately 5 3/4" tall, 3" wide and 4" long. Please check out the other bank buildings from my personal collection I am selling, due to downsizing.
