Description: Vintage Barbara Ann Scott Ice Skater Doll Composition Reliable Canada 1940s Approximately 16 inches In true vintage condition with general age related wear, all consistent with the dolls age. There is crazing to the paintwork all over her body and face. Her stringing isn't as tight as it would have once been, but she will hold different poses well. There is some fade to her clothes and her dress is ruffled up at the back. There is a small patch of stickiness to her skates so I haven't tried to remove them for fear that they will be fragile, though they do appear in good condition overall. Although her markings on her neck are not totally visible, I believe her to be based on Barbara Ann Scott, once an Olympic Canadian Ice Skater. This is a Vintage item and condition is listed as Used. As with all Vintage items they may not be perfect. There may be signs of age, wear and use. Please bear this in mind and view all photos provided.
