Description: Vintage Barbie Miss Astronaut #1641. This outfit came out in 1965, four years before we even landed on the moon. The Gemini missions were capturing all the world's attention. A must have outfit for those who collect Barbie for the history of the sixties. I added a pair of grey ankle boots. The regular boots and gloves get very stiff with age and generally crack or fall apart. Most people substitute them for the reproductions. All the seams are intact, no missing trim, zipper, buttons, everything intact and working. There is one abrasion on a sleeve (pictured) and one loop for the two button closures is stretched out.
