This does have a stain across the middle. 2 hand towels with crocheted tops 2 wash clothes with the edges crocheted together and gathered with a loop. This set was brand new when I found it at an estate sale. The stained crease in the one towel was were it was hanging out of the box. I'm not sure if someone modified(crocheted) the hand towels and wash clothes or they came that way originally. Per ebay policy..I did wash these so they are fresh & clean. Thank you
