The lace up, high-top boots are made of black leather. They have steel toes, and there is a full run of metal eyelets for the laces. The boots were made by American Biltrite, Inc., of Wellesley Hills, Massachusetts, in 1983. There is a cloth label sewn into the inside of each boot, which says: "ANSI" and "Z41.1-1983/75. While there is no indication as to their size, I believe that they are a size 11. The exterior sole of the boot measures approximately 12.5 inches in length, and the actual interior measurement, from toe to heel, is 11 inches in length. They fit me fine and I take a men's size 11 shoe.The boots have been used, and are in great vintage condition, with no stains, discoloration or repairs, and minimal signs of wear, with the exception of the tongue, which is wrinkled from the laces.
