Description: I'm a magazine addict. Nothing makes me happier than getting a bunch of new magazines. Except maybe a bunch of new magazines and a cupcake. Since I've been looking into getting some backyard chickens and building some sort of cool chicken coop I really wanted to see how it was done back in the day. So I've been leafing through some very nice vintage poultry magazines and would like for someone else to enjoy them too. June July August 1934 6 by 9 1/4 inches. 32 pages. More like a pamphlet than a magazine because of the size. I'm no expert but it seems much of what is printed here is still useful today. And certainly and interesting look at chickens in 1934. What really grabs my attention about this issue is the article on the 5 acre dream farm which is still the dream of many today. Also in this issue are articles on eat more chicken and commercialism for the chicken fancier.
