Description: RARE Dog Art Carved UNMARKED BRONZE TONE Metal Medal / Brooch / Pin / Tie Tack in the shape of a Running Whippet Italian Greyhound or Greyhound Dog. EXQUISITE Detail for the Dog Lover! Breed depicted is a Racing Greyhound / Whippet / Italian Greyhound. Likely one of the first two, as the patina appears to resemble Brindle patterning, which you do not find in the IG. Extremely finely detailed carved Unmarked Bronze tone METAL / MEDAL / BROOCH / LAPEL PIN. Items for either of these breeds are extremely difficult to find, this was bought at the Cruft's Dog Show in the 1990s, and has just been hanging out ever since. I am currently downsizing, tooooooo many items here. Dimensions: 2" wide/long, 0.5" tall, locking mechanism on the back. Patina resembles brindle coloration, glossy finish, I have not used any cleaner on it, that is up to the new owner. Sculpture of the dog is extremely finely detailed per breed standard, Extremely beautiful and well done, with important breed features present. Perfect condition. One only. This is magnificent!
