Description: Pictured is a pair of Vintage Bronze Pompeian Book Ends Dutch Couple Signed Circa 1935. The bookends were produced by the Pompeian Bronze Company in Brooklyn NY around 1935. The electroformed bronze was clad over plaster and then painted. Appears original paint still present. Beautiful patina, I have not cleaned the pieces. Each piece is around 4 lbs and both together weigh 7 lbs 11oz. The pieces are approximately 7" x 6". Both signed Pompeian Bronze Co 140. Will be shipped out Parcel Mail as related to weight.
