Description: This vintage Rare art piece mirror is a unique addition to any collection. The brass frame is hand engraved with zodiac signs and framed with wood. The piece is from either the 1960s or 1970s. Could possibly be made by abstract metalwate artist Don Drum. The piece is medium sized. It looks like print type on brass surface but images were engraved on the brass resulting in images that have relief. The item is perfect for those who appreciate abstract mid century modern art and want to add a unique piece to their collection. Unfortunately this piece is not signed. I did some searching to try find similar mirror. I did find one other similar mirror that sold in England. It sold really well. Unfortunately it was listed incorrectly as a silkscreen on wood. The reason is that the frame to this piece has flat sheets of brass that have engraved images with relief on the surface. The piece is in good condition. No breaks or cracks. There are some minor dings to the wood along edge surfaces and minor to corners. The backside has minor dinging and a nick from the nail contact near the triangle metal hook for hanging mirror. This piece may have been in a smokers home because when I cleaned the mirror I noticed yellow color on the cloth. I do not smell tobacco or smoke but my smell senses are not the best. This mirror is measures 15 3/4" wide by 19" long top to bottom and is 1/2" thick. The glass mirror part is approx 8 1/2" wide by 11 1/2" top to bottom. This item will ship free via USPS Ground Advantage. I will take the piece to the shipping facility no later than 3 business days from the time your payment is received.
