Description: Offered for sale here is a small size (Approximately 4 1/4” long, by 1 1/2” wide and 2” tall) vintage cast iron or steel Budgie Toys Refuse Truck. Overall condition of this toy is “VERY GOOD”, but it has been played and does show signs of wear, keep in mind it’s also almost fifty (50) years old. It’s also had the mechanism that operates the body to lift and dump replaced, so it’s not original. The rear compactor door opens and the body raises just not exactly as it should. Still displays very nicely. This truck is from my personal collection of more than 800 toy garbage trucks and which I’m actioning-off. Will be shipped using U.S.P.S.
