Description: This vintage Burroughs electric adding machine from the early 1900s is a unique piece of history. Made by Burroughs, this antique adding machine is sure to impress collectors and enthusiasts alike. When I plugged the item in it runs and appears to cycle forward as it would be moving the paper forward if there was a roll of paper on it. I don't see an on or off button so it appears you unplug it to get it to shut off. The add and minus buttons go down freely, but the number buttons do not. So it is running but NOT what I would consider working condition. I repeat, motor turns on and runs but you are unable to push down the number buttons. Not in complete working condition. It may be a simple, easy fix, but I am not certain. Selling as is . Be happy to answer any questions you might have, but unfortunately I don't know too much about this item. It does weigh 30 lb, so I will be shipping UPS or FedEx to save on costs. Also local pickup is available. Michigan 48745
