Description: Up for sale is an interesting C. Farlow & Co. bamboo fly rod. This rod is 8’ 6” long and it feels like it would handle 4-5wt fly lines just fine (it has a very nice delicate action). Unfortunately, I couldn’t find much information on this specific model Farlow (it appears to be an earlier rod). With all of that being said, this rod will need some light work before it is ready to hit the water. The main thing I need to mention is the butt-section is missing two guides (this rod has a rather interesting guides). Also, one of the tip guides has a small bend. The darker varnish has some wear, but still looks great. The ferrules fit tight and measure 15/64. The butt-cap is stamped “8200”. This rod comes with a tip tube, tip sock, and tube (no sock for the butt-section). All-in-all, a very unique rod to add to your collection. Please see all of the photos and thank you for looking.
