Vintage Capodimonte Tramp on a Bench Porcelain Figurine

Description: This porcelain figurine features a finely sculpted bum or tramp on a bench putting his freshly-patched feet up, his shoes beneath the bench and a bottle of wine beside him. Hand painted and wonderfully detailed, from his fingers and toes to the tiny stitching holes on the patches of his rope-belted pants. This figurine is approximately 10 1/2 inches long, 7 1/2 inches wide, and 8 inches tall, marked with a crowned N on the bottom. Overall excellent condition with a bit of hidden history: it was once common to etch your social security number into the bottom of expensive items in case of theft! The number has been previously removed; no cracks, chips, or damage otherwise noted. Felt feet on the bottom to protect your shelves.
