Vintage Caramel Bakelite 4 Matched Bracelet, Carved Fluted Edge, 1930s-'40s

Description: A0044 P This vintage caramel bakelite bracelet is a stunning piece of retro jewelry. The bracelet features a carved fluted edge and is stackable for added style. Made in the 1930s-'40s, this original bangle is a perfect addition to any fashion jewelry collection. The orange color of the bakelite material adds a pop of color to any outfit. The bracelet is round in shape and cannot be resized. It is a unique and rare piece of vintage jewelry that is sure to impress. wider and flatter on one surface and gently rounded and slightly narrower on the opposite surface. So the shape is similar to a fluted piecrust. The inner surface is glossy, as is the wider section of the fluted edge. Above the carved-out flutes, the narrower part of the edge and the top and bottom of the piece have that light patina that vintage Bakelite pieces typically exhibit. I have never tried to remove the patina during the years the bracelet has been part of my collection. The bracelet is in excellent pre-owned condition! There are very minor scratches to the patinated surfaces that can be seen with a magnifying glass, but they are confined to the patina itself and are too faint to show up in my photographs. There is a tiny light, surface -only spot (1/32") on the wider, flatter surface and, near that, a tiny white dot on the inside of the bangle. I circled both of these in my last photo! The bracelet measures just a smidge over 3" across (outer diameter), and the inner diameter is 2 1/2",
