Description: I found these at an estate sale in southern NJ. The daughters of the late-owners were hosting a sale to empty their parents house after it had been sold. I arrived late in the day so things were quiet and the daughters were reminiscing about all the things they had found while preparing for the sale. They told me this set of carved wood salt and pepper shakers had come home with their parents from one of their early trips to Italy. They disagreed about the date but were pretty sure it was late 1960's thru mid 1970's era. Pretty good shape considering age, but will need new corks and a good cleaning if you intend to use them.
