Description: This is a vintage Case 5220 “Peanut” pattern pocket knife. The tang stamp is CASE XX 1940-1964.The knife is 2-3/4” closed with brass liners and pinned oval CASE shield. The blade steel is CV (carbon) steel.Both blades have strong snap with half stops.Clip blade has a slight hint of wobble - pen blade is tight with no wobble.Genuine stag handles have great color - one tight crack on back at the upper bolster.The handles have no other cracks or damage.Used, carried, and sharpened. Both blades are near full with sharpening marks, dark patina, and staining as the photos show.
